Nehemiah 12:44

At that time, men were appointed to be in charge of the storehouses where the offerings, first fruits, and tithes were deposited. From the fields of the city, they were to collect what, according to the teaching (Hebr. Torah), belonged to the priests and Levites. There was joy in Judah over the priests and Levites who served.
