Arameic lexicon BETA

Right now we are developing the lexicon. In the first phase every Arameic word has been translated to English. The task we are working on currently is to record audiofiles and to add categories, synonyms and descriptions (of which there are currently 32). The lexicon contains 698 words.

Except for these, there are words and phrases in the New Testament that are in Arameic. Some examples are rhaka (insult), mammon, maranatha etc.

What is Strong's number? In the 19th century, a professor named James Strong went through the entire Bible and gave each unique word a number. He and his assistants built a dictionary of all the unique words. Using this numbering system (called Strong's numbers), you can look at the basic text and see which words are used.
