Exodus 28:21

And the stones shall be according to the names of the sons of Israel, twelve [in number], according to their names, engraved like a signet ring, each with its name for the twelve tribes.
[Exactly which name corresponds to each stone is not defined. It is likely that Reuben comes first. In Ezek. 48:30–34, the location of the tribes is listed. It is likely that each tribe's flag had elements of the stone's color, see Num. 2:2. These twelve stones are also found in the description of the new Jerusalem in the Book of Revelation, see Rev 21:19–20.]
