I have sent to you all my servants the prophets, sent them many times and often, saying, 'Return, I beg you, from your evil ways. Change your behavior and do not follow other gods to serve them, and you shall dwell in the land that I have given to you and your fathers. But you have not turned your ear and listened to me.
