Matthew 25:1

[Jesus sits on the Mount of Olives and continues to answer his disciples' questions about his second coming and the end of the age, see Matt 24:3. This is the second of three parables about the church before Jesus returns.] Then, at that time [before Jesus' second coming, at the end of the age], the kingdom of heaven (the kingdom of the heavens) can be likened to ten virgins who took their torches (Hebr. lampas) and went out to meet the bridegroom.
