Galatians 3:13

The Anointed One (Messiah, Christ) has redeemed us (paid a price for our freedom) from the curse of the law, by becoming one with the curse in our place, for it is written:
"Cursed is everyone who is hung on a tree (a cross)." [Deut. 21:23]
