Titus 3:3

For we ourselves were once
unreasonable,
rebellious,
lost,
slaves to various desires
and pleasures,
living in malice
and envy,
detestable (we were hated and despised in the eyes of others)
and hating one another.
[Our evil lifestyle made people hate us, and we hated them. A vicious cycle of hatred.]
