Genesis 32:32

That is why the sons of Israel do not eat the hip muscle that is on the thigh to this day, because he touched Jacob's hip, the hip muscle on the thigh.
[Although Jacob was given a new name in verse 28, his old name is used in verse 29 and also in the following verses (Gen. 32:1, 10; 46:2). The name change did not mean that he would never use that name again. When Simon receives a new name (Peter, see John 1:42), his old name is still referred to. (Matt. 16:17). The name change has to do with the meaning of the name; instead of being someone who lies and deceives and fights against God, Jacob now becomes Israel, someone who fights alongside God.]
