Genesis 37:30

He returned to his brothers and said, "The child is no more... and I... where shall I go?"
[The Hebrew word for child is jeled, which describes a small child. Even though Joseph was 17 years old (Gen. 37:2), Reuben saw him as his protégé. We sense Reuben's desperation and helplessness. What should he do? Should he try to find Joseph or flee from his father?]
