Genesis 38:14

And she took off her widow's clothes. And she covered herself with a veil. Yes, she wrapped herself up [so that she could not be recognized]. And she sat down by the gate of Enaim, which is on the road to Timnah, because [the reason Tamar did this was that] she had realized that Shelah had grown up, but she had not been given to him as a wife. [Enaim means the springs. Perhaps the same city referred to as Enam in Josh. 15:34]
