Nehemiah 10:31

If any of the foreign peoples bring goods or grain for sale on the Sabbath day, we shall not buy them from them on the Sabbath or on a holy day. [This rule originates from Ex. 16:22–30. Pretty soon the people broke this rule, see Neh. 13:15–16.]
We shall let every seventh year be a year of release and refrain from all kinds of demands. [Ex. 23:10–11; Lev. 25:2–7; Deut. 15:1–3]
