Nehemiah 5:1

[Chapter 5 is the central chapter in Neh. 3:1–7:3]
Then there arose a great cry (a Lam., an angry protest, "a murmur") among the people and their wives against their brothers, the Jews. [The word for cry is the same as that used for the lament of the Israelites under Egyptian slavery, see Ex. 3:7.]
