Psalms 119:37

Turn away my eyes from beholding vanity (emptiness)
and let me live (be preserved, live to the fullest) in your ways.
[In verse 36, "heart" and greed are mentioned. The heart speaks of inner motives. In verse 37, the pair is "eyes" and vanity. If the eyes are fixed only on worldly riches as motivation, it is only emptiness, see also Prov 10:22; Matt. 6:24.]
