Psalms 46:6

The heathen nations are in revolt, and the kingdoms are shaken.
Then his voice is heard, and the earth (the land, the inhabitants) melts.
[The word for melt denotes a change that cannot be resisted. People tremble with fear and cannot do anything about the situation.]
