Psalms 9:2

I want to be glad and rejoice in you (jump for joy before you)!
I want to sing praises (play; strike the strings) to your name, you the Most High (Elion)!
[The first Hebrew letter alef (א) represents an ox, symbolizing strength. Alef is the leader—the first and most important. Four verbs in "I want to give thanks," "I want to tell," "I want to be glad," and "I want to sing praises" begin with this letter. From this we understand that the first and most important thing is to give thanks, praise, and rejoice in God and testify to all the good He does, see Neh. 8:10.]
