Exodus 19:1

In the third month, after the children of Israel had left the land of Egypt—on that very day [at the new moon, the 1st of Sivan]—they came to the wilderness of Sinai. [The Israelites left Egypt at midnight on the 15th of Nisan (Ex. 12:31), traveled during the month of Iyar (April/May), and arrived at the Sinai desert 2.5 months later on the 1st of Sivan.]
