Exodus 23:18

[Four laws prohibiting traditions of surrounding peoples.]
Do not sacrifice the blood of my sacrifices with leavened or fermented bread. [Do not drink blood, see Lev. 17:14, nor mix it with bread.]
Nor shall the fat of my feasts remain outside, outdoors, all night until morning [Lev. 3:16–17].
