Every [Hebrew] woman shall ask her [Egyptian] neighbor, and other women who happen to be in her house, for objects of silver and gold, and also clothing. With these you shall clothe your sons and daughters. In this way you shall plunder the Egyptians [of what belongs to you, what has been withheld from you through slavery]."
