Exodus 34:26

Bring the first fruits of your land to the house of the Lord (Adonai) your God (Elohim).
Do not cook a kid in its mother's milk."
[The phrase is repeated from Ex. 23:19 and reappears in Deut. 14:21. Rabbinical interpretations of this commandment have led to today's kosher laws for food.]
