Ecclesiastes 11:2

Divide a portion into seven, yes, into eight,
for you do not know what evil (misfortune) will come (appear) on the earth.
[The proverb can mean that you sow on the water, i.e., give goodness and be generous, and it will find its way back. It can also refer to merchants who trade goods across the water, see 1 Kings 10:22.]
