Isaiah 3:5

And the people shall oppress one another,
every man his fellow, and every man his neighbor.
The young men (teenagers) shall be insolent toward the old
and the despicable toward the honorable.
[In Hebrew culture, youth, and even more so children, are viewed negatively when it comes to leadership. There is great respect for the life experience and wisdom that old age brings. Therefore, older leaders are held in much higher regard than young leaders. God's statement that he will put children and infants in charge is an extreme way of saying that Jerusalem and Judah are not worthy of any real leaders.]
