Isaiah 49:8

This is what the Lord says [God the Father's words to his son, the Messiah]:
"In a time of grace (conditional grace – Hebr. ratson), I will answer you,
on the day of salvation, I will help you.
I will protect you and make you
a covenant for the people [the people in the singular always refers to Israel, see Isa. 42:6].
The land will be established (rebuilt),
and the abandoned plots of land will be distributed.
