Jeremiah 15:8

Their widows became more numerous before me
than the sand of the sea [an ironic reference to Gen. 22:17; 32:12; 41:49],
I brought upon them (let come upon them), against the mother of young men,
a destroyer in the middle of the day [when an attack is least expected, see Jer. 6:4],
I will bring distress and terror (sudden fear – Hebr. behalah)
upon her suddenly.
