Jeremiah 3:2

Lift up your eyes to the bare heights [Judah] and see!
Where have you not lain [defiled yourself with idols, see Jer. 2:20]?
You have sat by the roadsides for them [waiting for your lovers]
like an Arab in the wilderness [known for robbing passing caravans, see Hos. 6:9]
and you have defiled the land
with your prostitution and your wickedness.
