Ezekiel 1:15

[Next to these cherubim, something resembling wheels is described. It is the same word (Hebr. ofan) that is used for wagon wheels, see Ex. 14:25. However, they are more complex and are described as "wheels within wheels," see verse 16. In later Jewish literature (the Books of Enoch, 1 Enoch 61:10 and 2 Enoch 29:3), ofannim (plural of ofan) develops into a third type of angel, along with seraphim and cherubim. The reason is that there are eyes on the "wheels," see verse 18. The most basic interpretation of the wheels that can move in all directions is to show God's omnipotence and ability to see and move everywhere on earth at the same time.]
And I saw the living creatures, and behold, a wheel on the ground beside the living creatures at their four faces.
