[Verses 32-38 form a chiasm, with verse 35 at its center.] Not for your sake do I do this, declares (says, proclaims) the Lord of hosts (Adonai Yahweh), let it be known to you (be intimately familiar with). The house of Israel shall be ashamed and confounded for their ways (the way you have acted).
