Ezekiel 37:1

The hand of the Lord (God's power and presence) came upon me, and by his Spirit I was led away to a valley, and it was full of [dried] bones.
[Not whole skeletons, but dried human bone fragments. The picture that is painted is a forgotten war scene where a battle has been fought. No one has buried the bodies, and they have decayed, and bone fragments lie scattered about.]
