Ezekiel 40:1

[Ezek.'s vision of the new temple is well structured in seven parts that form a chiasm. The first, central, and last parts deal with how the land is measured out.
A The temple is measured, Ezek. 40:1–42:20
B God's glory from the east, Ezek. 43:1–12
C Regulations for temple service, Ezek. 43:13–44:31
D The measurements of the land, Ezek. 45:1–12
C´ Statutes for temple service, Ezek. 45:13–46:24
B´ The double river to the east, Ezek. 47:1–12
A´ The borders of the land, Ezek. 47:13–48:35]
In the 25th year of our captivity, at the beginning of the year [the spring month of Aviv/Nisan, see Ex. 12:2], on the 10th day of the month [when the Passover lamb was to be chosen, see Ex. 12:3] in the 14th year since the city had been captured [April 10, 573 BC], on that very day the hand of the Lord came upon me, and he took me there.
