Hosea 4:6

[The priests were responsible for teaching the people the word of God, see Lev. 10:11. Compare also Isa. 5:13.]
My people are destroyed for lack of (intimate) knowledge.
Because you have rejected knowledge
I will also reject you so that you will have no priest to serve me.
Because you have forgotten the teaching of your God (Elohim)
I will also forget your sons.
