Leviticus 19:29

Do not defile (desecrate) your daughter by making her a prostitute,
so that the land becomes corrupted by fornication and filled with shameful deeds. [The word defile is a rich word meaning to not value, but it also has the meaning of piercing, wounding, killing, and sacrificing. The word also has the meaning "to begin" and to initiate a process. The meaning can be to give away one's daughter to Canaanite fertility rites, see Jer. 2:20; Hos. 2, but also incestuous relationships, see Lev. 18:17.]
