Numbers 18:15

Everything that opens the womb, of all the flesh that they sacrifice to the Lord (Yahweh), both humans and animals, shall be yours, but a firstborn man shall always be redeemed, and the firstborn of unclean animals you shall redeem.
[Boys shall always be redeemed, but not the clean animals. The unclean animals are, for example, donkeys and camels, which are domestic animals that can be owned by someone. Since these animals are classified as unclean and may not be eaten, they may not be sacrificed either. Therefore, one must either redeem the firstborn or break its neck if one does not consider oneself able to redeem it.]
