And they shall take a blue cloth and cover the menorah—the lampstand [the seven-branched candlestick, see Ex. 25:31–40] and its lamps and its tongs and its wick trimmers and all its oil utensils with which they minister to it. [Literally: 'the lampstand menorah'. This may be a way of emphasizing that it is this specific light holder that has seven arms. The word light holder (Hebr. maor) is a general term for a light bearer that can be anything that carries and spreads light, used for example for the sun and the moon, see Gen. 1:14–16.]
