Numbers 9:16

So it was continuously (always, all the time), the cloud covered it [the tabernacle] and what looked like fire at night.
[The cloud and fire may be a reference to the pillar of cloud and pillar of fire that led the Israelites in their desert journey, see Ex. 14:20; 40:34–38. It was a visible confirmation of God's presence and guidance.]
