Matthew 4:22

Immediately they left the boat and their father and followed him.
[The parallel passage in Luke 5:4–11 describes in more detail how they had been fishing all night without catching anything. Jesus tells Peter to cast his nets again in deep water, and they get a huge catch. This event shows Jesus' care for the disciples' families; they are not in need and have time to hire new fishermen.]
