Mark 12:23

At the [now alleged] resurrection, when they rise, which of these will she be the wife of? All seven were married to her."
[The Sadducees wanted to show the absurdity of a resurrection using this example, which they probably used as an argument in earlier discussions with the Pharisees. The example may come from a story from the Apocrypha, Tobit 3:7-15, where a woman married seven men without having children. They assumed that the resurrected body would be like the current human body, see also Paul's reasoning on the same subject in 1 Cor. 15:12–58.]
