Luke 1:9

it happened, in the customary drawing of lots, that he was commissioned to enter the temple of the Lord and light the incense.
[The incense was lit twice a day. For the morning and evening, four lots were drawn and the priests were assigned different tasks. The third lot, to light the incense altar, was an honorable task assigned to a priest only once in his lifetime. During one of the two weeks of the year when Zechariah’s division is in charge of the sacrifices, he will now be the one to enter the Holy Place and perform this task.]
