Luke 2:37

and had been a widow for eighty-four years. [Eighty-four years may refer either to her present age or to her widowhood, in which case she is over a hundred years old. Either way, the description in the previous verse that she was "very old" is correct] She never left the temple but worshipped day and night with fasts and prayers. [She spent a lot of time in prayer and fasting in the women's court, always attending the daily prayer at nine, twelve and three o'clock, but also the evening prayer, see Ps. 134:1–2.]
