Luke 9:62

Jesus replied, "No one who puts a hand to the plow and looks back is fit for the kingdom of God."
[Here we see another similarity with Elisha's calling, where Elijah allowed him to say goodbye to his family, see 1 Kings 19:20. But here we see that Jesus' calling is more radical than that of even the most radical prophet of Old Testament times.]
