John 10:10

The thief would not come, if it were not to
steal (kleptomaniacally take for himself)
and slaughter (kill for sacrifice)
and [completely] destroy (ruin, corrupt) [by driving the sheep out of the flock and throwing it off balance so that it can then be easily killed].
I came so that they might have (possess) life [God's rich life, with power, meaning, and purpose, see John 14:6]
and have (possess) it in abundance (to the fullest extent; to the brim so that it overflows all around).
