John 7:22

Moses gave you the custom of circumcision [of boys on the eighth day after birth, see Ex. 12:44–49] actually, it was not Moses who introduced the custom, but the fathers [Abraham, see Gen. 17:9–14] – and you circumcise boys even on the Sabbath.
