John 8:48

The Jews answered him, "Are we not right in saying that you are a Samaritan (Gk: samarites) and have (are under the influence of) an evil spirit?" [The reference may be to a Samaritan (from Samaria), but it is also likely that he was a practitioner of the disreputable Samaritan faith, see John 4:9.]
