Acts 10:28

He said to them, "You know that it is taboo (shameful – Gk. athemitos) for a Jewish man to associate with or visit a foreigner (someone from another people). [The teaching in the Books of Moses did not explicitly forbid this, but it was the general interpretation and understanding. An example can be found in John 18:28, where they did not want to defile themselves and enter Herod's palace during the trial of Jesus; see also John 4:9.] But God has shown me that no human being should be called unholy or unclean.
