Acts 19:9

But some became hardened and refused to believe, speaking evil of the Way [as the Christians were then called, see Acts 9:2] before the whole [Jewish] congregation. Then he left them and took the disciples with him and talked (had a dialogue, discussed) with them every day in Tyrannus' lecture hall.
[Some manuscripts add that Paul was there between the fifth and eleventh hours, i.e., between eleven o'clock and four o'clock. The time is probably correct, since it was then that it was hottest and most people took a siesta. The lecture hall was empty and could easily be rented. Paul worked in the morning and evening making tents, see Acts 20:34, and taught in the middle of the day.]
