Acts 28:27

For this people's heart is hardened (thick, hard, unfeeling).
They hear poorly with their ears
and close their eyes,
so that they do not see with their eyes
or hear with their ears
or understand with their hearts
and turn back
so that I may heal them.
[Quote from Isa. 6:9–10. Jesus also quotes from the same passage, see Matt. 13:14–15; John 12:39–40.]
