Romans 1:23

and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images of mortal men, of birds, four-footed animals, and reptiles [which they worshipped as their idols].
[Idolatry opens the door to all other sins. When man becomes his own god, he can do whatever he wants without having to answer for his actions.]
