through the power of signs and wonders, through the power of the Spirit. So from Jerusalem and around [in Syria and on to the west across Asia Minor] as far as Illyria [Roman province in the western Balkans, corresponding roughly to present-day Albania and the former Yugoslavia], everywhere preaching the gospel of the Anointed One (Messiah, Christ).
