Romans 8:15

For you did not receive (accept) a spirit of slavery to fall back into fear (which again leads to fear), but you received the Spirit of sonship [which gives sons' rights], in which we [constantly] cry out [loudly; pleading for help]: "Abba (Dad)! Father!"
[Those who have received Jesus have been adopted into God's family, which means full rights and free access to everything the parent owns. Abba means dad in Aramaic, the everyday language of Jesus' time. The first words a small child learned were dad (Aramaic abba) and mom (Aramaic immah). The expression "Abba Father" shows that we are allowed to be God's children and have a close family relationship with our heavenly Father.]
