Romans 9:24

[Up to this point, Paul has been speaking in more general terms. Now he includes himself and the recipients of the letter, believing Jews and Gentiles in Rom.]
To be such [vessels of mercy, verse 23], he has called us, not only from among the Jews [Isaac and Jacob, see verses 6-13] but also from among the Gentiles.
