First letter to the Corinthians 11:11

More specifically (what is important in this discussion is that),
in the Lord, the woman is not independent of the man,
nor is the man independent of the woman.
[Verses 9 and 11 belong together. In verse 9, Paul connects back to creation that women, like Eve, were created because men, like Adam, needed help. Now in verse 11 comes the summary that in the Lord, men and women are dependent on each other.]
