First letter to the Corinthians 15:24

Then comes the end. [The final resurrection is when all people will rise and stand before the white throne, and each will hear their Judg., see Matt. 25:46.] Then he will hand over the kingdom to God, his Father,
after deposing all other rulers (archdukes, leaders from ancient times, military term for general, the highest leader) [probably high-ranking demons],
and every authority (military term for delegated authority)
and power (force).
